Training in Miracles is so pure, so wonderful, so powerful, and so much more spiritually advanced than every other part of our planet's literature (past and offer), that you have to actually feel it to imagine it. But those whose minds are extremely mounted on worldly thoughts, and do not have the underlying thirst for true spiritual knowledge which is required for its understanding, will not comprehend one particular whole page. That isn't because A Course in Miracles is confusing - to the contrary its principles are remarkably simple - but alternatively which is the nature of spiritual knowledge those who aren't prepared to realize it, cannot be aware of it. Mentioned previously in the Bible, at the beginning of it of John: "The light shineth in darkness, and darkness comprehended it not".
Since I first became mindful of the majestic and awe-inspiring presence of God, We've enjoyed reading many wonderful spiritual works much like the Bible (the best parts would be the Sermon on the Mount and Psalms), the Bhagavad-Gita, the Upanishads, the Koran as well as the poetry of Kabir and Rumi. Not one of them comparable for the greatness of an Course in Miracles. Reading it with an open mind and heart, your fears and troubles wash away. You then become aware of a marvelous love deep in the human body - deeper than everything else you knew before. The future begins to seem so bright to suit your needs you. You are feeling adoration for everyone including those you previously have attemptedto leave excluded. These experiences are extremely powerful possibly at times throw you off balance just a little, but it's worth the cost: A Course in Miracles covers a love so peaceful, so strong so universal - you may wonder how numerous world's religions, whose aim is supposedly much the same experience, got so off target.
I have to say here to your Christian who feels that his church's teachings don't truly satisfy his thirst to know a type, merciful and loving God, but is sort of afraid to learn this course as a consequence of others' claims that it's inconsistent with "true" Christianity: Don't get worried! We have look at gospels many times and I promise a Course in Miracles is very consistent with Jesus' teachings while he was on this planet. Don't fear the fanatical defenders of exclusionist dogma - these the indegent think themselves to be the only carriers of Jesus' message, and the only ones worth his blessings, while all other go to hell. A program in Miracles reflects Jesus' true message: unconditional passion for *all people*. As they was on earth, Jesus believed to judge a tree by its fruit. So give it a go to see how the fruits that ripen in your life taste. Should they taste bad, you are able to abandon A program in Miracles. But when they taste as sweet as mine do, and the countless other true seekers who may have found A training course in Miracles to become nothing more than a heavenly treasure, then congratulations - and may even your heart be abundantly filled up with peaceful, loving joy.
